The proper way is the second way, but I have to admit that except when I am being careful around P-car buffs, I say it wrong. I know it is a persons name and deserves to be pronounced correctly, but I don't think the Porsche family minds too much that I mispronounce their name. If someone loves something I create as much as I love the Porsches 911 and mispronounces my name I'll be a happy camper.
This is one of those questions that has been answered and debated to the ends of the forum though.
