It's pronounced Por-sha, of course. There's no argument there. I always say Por-sha, never Porsh. But I don't care what others say.

Can't "Porsh" be considered a nickname like Chevy or Jag? When I hear others say "Porsh", I get the feeling they know it's really "Por-sha", but they're just saying the equivalent of Chevy or Jag. Maybe I'll start asking, tactfully, people who say "Porsh" if that's the case.

I just don't like the nickname, if that's what it is. Just like a San Franciscan cringes at the nickname "Frisco".
