The funny thing about concours winners is that they were NEVER ratty in the first place. You read about guys finding a pristine '67S in a barn, well, the one that wins the Manhattan trophy is the one owned by the Porsche Dealer from Ohio who never let it sit in a barn in the first place!

You can still find original steel heat exchangers from time to time. If a set can be obtained, I would have them jet-hot coated in ceramic the same color as the original Dove Gray.
