well, now that it is running properly, i love it. the first 3 months were a nightmere: vacuum leaks, faulty dme, gutted cat, faulty wiring at the the knock sensor, bad FPR and dampener, bad fuel lines at the gas tank, rusted out muffler, little interior bits that were not right. none of which was disclosed to me. the interior i knew about, because i could see it. considering where i bought the car, the should have (and i believe they did) know about all of these things, as they became obvious very quickly. however, it does have a ported head, fidanza flywheel, new bottom bearings and rings, new water pump, and new seals.
if you are going to have to take it to the shop for repairs on everything, i wouldn't recommend it, as the expense will be astronomical. if you are willing to do the labor yourself, i recommend it.
there is nothing like going 70 MPH on the freeway, punching the gas to pass someone and be going 100 MPH within seconds. getting used to the turbo lag takes some time.
i'd also recommend that you keep the car stock, if you want it to be reliable. this will probably get me flamed, but... my thinking is that once the performance of the engine starts to be altered, by chips, or whatever, the car will become increasingly difficult to troubleshoot WHEN, not IF, there are problems.
