This was a Pininfarina design who did not normally convert others designs. GM's huge budget influenced him to redesign the Vette.
This is a variation of the RC2-266 concept Corvette. It was mid engine and had a 4 rotor wankel engine in it. It was supposed to compliment to upcoming Chevy Monza that was to be powered by the GMRE (General Motors Rotary Engine) that was shelved after the new emmisions laws were introduced in 1974.
