Southern Ontario Runs
Possible run areas:
Milton - 1 hr lower speed ‘technical’ run followed by a country cruise north & lunch at Millcroft Inn or Elora Inn – or some other country Inn (maps & run route mostly developed)
Niagara – Hamilton thru Grimsby/Vineland & thru St Catherines to wine area around Niagara-on-the-Lake. Stop at Reif or somewhere for a wine tour & lunch at Riverbend Inn or somewhere (1/2 the route is planned)
Start at Mono Mills/Hwy 9 & meander north thru Hockley Valley over to Beaver Valley, lunch in Thornbury or thereabouts & across Blue Mountain & back (I driven some of this route – no plan – full reconnaissance needed)
Start north of Orillia & drive Rt 13 to 169 then over to 400/69 & back through Big Chute ending in Coldwater (no recent experience but everybody uses the Rt 13 part for runs – full reconnaissance needed)
Question 1) What turns everybody’s crank for a run?
Question 2) What day – Saturday or Sunday?
Question 3) What dates?
With all of the 'street racing' events, a slow paced run might be a wise choice this summer.
