Yeah, I only felt one or two quakes in the nearly 14 years I lived in the SF Bay area, one was a 4.5 or so, but all it did where I was (in a hotel near Long Beach) was rattle the pictures on the wall.

When I was in grade school in Wilmington, NC; the old school had those huge window sashes, and those would rattle occaisionally from a quake. Very small ones.
