Last Sunday morning on one of the Fox money shows, Stein arqued for raising the taxes on the rich, the usual "They can afford it" stuff. One of his arguments was that the rich get a huge subsidy from the poor by getting all that police protection to keep the poor from coming over and robbing and looting the rich of their wealth. WTF? I thought we were supposed to obey the laws. Without police, wouldn't we have warlords and such. The way I see society we have an agreement with the government. They protect us and we don't act like vigilantes. Case in point, the Minutemen taking it into their own hands to protect the border, because the government is only paying lip service to the subject.
