It was the first car to catch my eye at the Tokyo Auto Salon last January: a small, swoopy 2-seater with an aggressive face and flowing profile. It looked like a scaled-down Ferrari 360 Modena. Glancing at its specifications, one figure stood out: the curb weight. At 2045 lb., this car was about 400 lb. lighter than a Mazda Miata. Engine output was 200-plus bhp.
