Porsche never intended to race the Spyder at LeMans this year.

Why would it be surprising to have problems in their first year of racing? Where is this coming from? The Audis are having allot of problems this year too, but that program was never intended to sell a race car.

How does Syder reliability translate into 996/997 owner bashing. Get real and wake up. There are allot of us that own nice examples of air cooled and water cooled Porsches. We also have the same passion for racing as anyone. The biggest difference is that I don't know any 996/997 owners that bash air cooled cars and their owners.
