Actually I haven't seen many used S3's but then I'm only looking on Craigs and Cycle Trader. I'm currently asking $200 less than I paid for it 10K miles & 1 year ago. I can be $$$ flexible for sure but when I see all the other stuff out there asking $3500+ I don't want to give it away either. That said it's standing in the way of my goals right now so I'm not going to haggle over a couple hundred.
Aprilia - not seriously, no. I sat on one way back when I was shopping for the S3. There is a new shop in Escondido, actually the shop in Oceanside moved there, Duc, Aprilia, etc.. toy store. What I really like about the RC51 is the known reliability, parts, service, and general support where the Aprilia... Sure the RC is a rice bike but it's unique enough to stand out - especially with the Sato exhausts barking out.
Like I said I've probably got another couple weeks (hopefully max) to look around and the Aprilia deserves another look.
