Sounds like a great trip. I went to Le Mans too - but only as a passenger this time. I'll be there again in a couple of weeks for the classic though - and driving this time.
Intrigued by the numberplate. I bought my car in Germany and I really liked the pressed metal plates. I thought about getting some done but didn't have any luck. What was their problem with them?
