So I call home last Friday, and ask if my wife and daughter want to go have lunch at Lana's Cafe, a great little airport restaraunt in Hoquium, out by the Pacific coast.
"Sure! Meet you at the airport."
So what do I see when we get close? A B-24 and a B-17 sitting on the ramp!
That's the nose of my little Bonanza in the foreground.
Pretty cool to see them take off while having a burger.
