Then you atleast have given him the chance to make things right.

I did try and work it out with Brandon (painter in question). All I got from Brandon (and his partner Mark) were excuses. They had every excuse in the book. Brandon's attitude was so bad and it was obvious he didn't care about the job he did on my car. In fact, he said he did it as a favor to Mark. Again, I didn't ask for any favors. All I wanted was a good paint job. I gave him a fair chance and decided it was better to accept my losses and move on (plus there were other issues with the work that added to my reasons for not going back). Why would I take my car back to someone who did bad work and didn't care? When the paint on the valances started to go bad, I decided to speak out. I wasn't surprised to hear from other victims of Brandon's with very similar stories. Just don't want this to happen to anyone else. Thanks to Andy, he has turned this once again into something that it is not. The funny thing is, this has absolutely nothing to do with Andy. The thread was about a bad paint job!
