It would be cheaper and safer if they just animated the whole thing and let the drivers use joysticks, that's what it's coming to. Waste of ******* money in my book and I think people that drive on the streets are starting to use bump drafting on the way to the office.
On the other hand, no doubt it is a huge business, seems very clean compared to other sports if you want to call it a sport and very patriotic. It's a marketing wonder and gettin bigger all the time. They seem to play by the rules, when someone fuchs up, they take some action to maintain the image, I give them high marks for that. Also when they are out on the track there is a good degree of safety involved and I would imagine some knowledge gained that can be used in other applications. More personal risk in NASCAR than stupid baseball and some other putt putt sports considering the salaries those *********s make.
