I think that was funny as heck. That is exactly how my mind works every day... except I sprinkle a bit of OCD in there:
lock the door,
get in the car,
go back and relock the door because I forgot if it was locked,
drive down the street,
turn around and come back to make sure the garage door is closed

I play that little game at least a few times a month and every time the door is locked and the garage door is closed.....
