Here's a quote about buying Cubans in Cuba (let alone any other place in the world):
"If you buy cigars off the street or beach, there is a miniscule chance you could actually get the real deal, but that chances of that are like 1 in a 1000! Most likely, what you will be getting are cigars made with homemade tobacco leaves, tobacco crumbs or even banana leaves! Plus the cigars are usually made pretty cheap and they will taste nothing like the real thing, they could even make you sick! Besides, would you go to Champagne in France and buy a bottle of Dom Perignon on the street? Would you drink it? Save yourself the trouble and get your cigars at the authorized stores, at least you will get real Cuban Cigars that you will enjoy."

Buy only from a tobacco dealer & they should be expensive. There are NO cheap Cuban cigars. Anywhere. See the price list on Marty's site for prices in Cuba. Then expect to pay double or triple that.
