I would definitely rethink this setup. it sounds like you have done nothing to your bottom end. for example, do you have the stock cast rods?(instead of 951 forged rods?) most of the stress will be put on the bottom end. ESPECIALLY, if you don't use an intercooler. The intake temperatures will soar and can cause knock, which can cause detonation. and if that happens do you think those cast rods will hold up? Not trying to rain on your parade, but a lot of other issues need to be tended to.

I have thought about doing a supercharger conversion on my 944S, because of the Fiberwerks front bumper. It has this opening that is just PERFECT for my Speedforceracing front mount intercooler. The thing that has always stopped my from doing the conversion is all the work needed to begin the project and then be able to maintain it. here's a pic of what i mean (this is my fiberwerks fron bumper, with my SFR intercooler for my 951)....
