Hi, just a quick question please

I have type (A) front calipers on my car but a type (S) seal kits has been fitted ( type A has the outer spring clip on the dust seal where the S type has the concealed spring clip) my question is this, is the piston bore seal the same for both these kits? I`m thinking they are but I thought I would ask. any infomation greatly appecitated.
