Well, today is my birthday (36 years young) and to celebrate, Julie and I bought a 1978 911SC Targa! OK, the deal has been in the works for...well, you could say over a year, but today we dealed the deal and brought her home. I bought it from Matt in Dayton (I think his Pelican name is Super78). We had been in contact last year when I was trying to sell/trade my Boxster for a good SC or early 3.2 Carrera. He and his wife came down to the house with his SC and we did a shared drive. They decided to pass on the Boxster, but when his car came up for sale again a few weeks ago, I thought maybe we should look into it. Anywho...long story short (..er, not so long..) I've got a good car for a good price and overall am very happy. There are a few things needed, but nothing outrageous so I should be able to get them taken care of right away. I have a lot of "plans" for the car already, but I think we'll have to wait until Foxy Brown sells before I get too involved. But I'm sure Julie and I will enjoy it just as it is for the rest of the year.

Like I said, I have a lot of ideas for this car's future, but would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions as well. For now, gotta go...it's cooling down to perfect Targa weather!
