Thanks all for the Bday wishes!

Bernie & Matt...yes, it's a sickness. But I've just given into it, rather than fight it. Life is just better that way. More expensive...but better.

Moses, that steering wheel is definitely on the list! ..if we can find a source that isn't "NLA".

Scott & Ray...a Boxster is still on "the list". Porsches 2 Oxford at the end of the month will be Foxy B's "swan song" with me (we'll be sure to find you Art!), then we're going to start selling her more aggressively. The Subaru is also for sale, so as soon as that's gone, we're going to pick up a nice '01 or '02 Boxster. Julie has become fairly adament about this. (Have I mentioned how much I love her?!?!?)

And yes, I DO hope to keep this one a while. This car should be a much more livable (..therefore usable...therefore used..) 911 than Foxy B, so I don't see any reason to get rid of it! Plus, I've always wanted to backdate an '80s era car, and this one just my be a perfect candidate.

For now, the plan is to just enjoy and enhance as the funds allow. First up is a needed service (valve adjust - oil change - etc.). I've already ordered new tires for the front and back (Kumhos via Tire Rack) and will have my mechanic do an alignment when he mounts and balances. I was going to go with 8" wheels in the rear and move the 7" to the front, but I think for now we'll just use the 6s & 7s and maybe put a spacer on the rears to fill out the fenders a bit. Matt provided a few parts that will be easy fixes, but there will be just a few more small things. Then the fun begins....
