In L.A., we have near militant dog lovers. If a dog is locked in a car with the windows rolled up, people will...

1) Call the police or Triple A to jimmy the locks open.

2) If that doesn't work, people will pick up a brick or rock and break the windows of the car to release the dogs.

But it doesn't stop there:

I know people who have broken all the windows in a car - not just one, slashed all four tires, and even set cars on fire.

This is the wrong town to mistreat a dog...
