hey guys, my window switches dont work..

then i open them and clean them..

then they work for a while...

then stop.... i clean them.... and, well, you get the idea..

my question is what is the black crud that forms on the contacts of the switches inside the actual switch, and how can i make it go away for good? (or at least more than a week or two)

would plopping a drop of solder on each of the contacts cure this problem?
