I just sold our '04 RX8. Was the GT version with six speed. The problem you are referring too was the engine flood issue that was corrected in a TSB by the dealer. Great car, but the gas mileage does suck. 14 mpg around town, 18 mpg on the highway.
The Mazda 6 is a great 4-door car.
