general question with 964, want to buy
Ok guys, first time here in the 964 forum. I don't anything about the 964s other then the usually carp about bad oil leaks. I am usually hang out at the fourm. Came across a 92 964. It has a salvage title. This guy has a corvette shop and he said it used to be his car. He wants 19k for it. What do you guys think. Oh, it has 55,000 miles on it. Been hit in the back.
What am I lookng at in terms of oil leaks, head studs, and all the bad things that were associated with that car. I really don't think is that bad but then I know anything about them. It will be my daily driver. I am getting rid or my miata. I don't know what the difference in power is like. I have a modded 930 for the canyons and the weekend. Do the A/C work in the them. I am going down there to look after lunch. didn't have time to search.
