we had a team event @ work
manager is into golf, so we went to a "golf clinic"
or so they called it

either way , i wasn't in the mood for it (i had done some driving ranges when i was 10 , found it boring then), but played along anyway

now this girl, who is i think a pro player , or wanna be, but twotiming as a golf teacher...

she comes up with this teaching for noobs angle , couple of dry jokes, yaddiyaddi

then makes a statement of how much chance of hitting the hole is , when putting... for pro's in the top league she says :

something like 70% 3feet
50% at 6feet
20% at 9 feet

or something like that, don't quote me on those numbers
anyway , something like above

seriously , if you call that "pro" , "top leageue"

and the top players in this game , only have a 50/50 chance if potting a hole from 2meters away ,sheeesh , if you wanna predict the winner over 18 holes , i think you get better odds playing black jack @ a casino....

either way, it spawned the unavoidable smartass remark to my manager, about makign it more exiting by combining golf with our previous team event, clay pigeon shooting.... aka golf ball shooting or something like that...at least you get the smell of gunpowder on that one, and loud bangs...ball-stick-hole seriously doesn't do it for me
