Bushes policy with regards to N korea is dead on....6 party talks....Japan, China, Russia, USA, S Korea and N Korea.
N Korea poses the greatest threat to their neighbors not the USA ...China has the greatest sway with N Korea...let them take care of little Kim...But to go into direct talks with the N Koreans is to do what they want....to give into the little maniac. Kim knows that with the others on board he can't get away with the same stuff he can with the USA...and thats because we aren't on the frontlines like they are....get it...
N Korea has had a history of being obtuse in their discussions with the world. They will talk and obstruficate until you want to pull your hair and still nothing will get accomplished...the only thing that impresses the N Koreans is the will to use force no matter what it costs...Just take a look at the Korean War dialogs.
