Major dumb A$$ decision to pass there. And then it was nothing more than target fixation and not enough skills,discipline, and experience to get their head/eyes through the corner and throw the bike back on line.
That said, it's not that easy to NOT watch a crash unfolding before you. This afternoon we had a lowside and the bike and rider were sliding away to the outside and the bike spun just so..... I think the rear wheel hit the rumble strip and launched it back onto the racing line. Sometimes luck and brakes come in handy.
