I'm extremely loyal to America and Americans, I have no use for the US government at all. The US governemnt is not and never has been America. Glad I could clear that up for you. Further, "just following orders" was dealt a substantial blow by the Nuremburg Trials, so that doesn't stand scrutiny either.

Not relevant. The US government went where it didn't belong once too often and met up with some folks who could and did do something about it.

And what were we mddling with in the 1920's? I thought the Europeans were doing all of the meddling back them and we didn't medle until we "installed" our Israeli surrogates. And we didn't really support them much then. at least until the 1960's. I recall that a lot of their support actually came from places like West Germany and France.

The US government has been meddling in the mideast since World War One. Get some facts. First as an adjunct to the British hegemony in the mideast, and then as a replacement for the British as worldwide hegemon.
