Thanks for the support guys!
Yeah, the next month is going to be a beyoch around here...we've been hitting the 90s with typical midwestern humidity. I'm hoping to survive it until it cools down. I get to work early, so the drive in won't be a problem. And coming home will be hot, but if I'm a little sweaty when I get home, who cares? (..well, maybe Julie. ) But if I have to run to see a client or something during the day...well I'm not sure how I'll handle that. I guess I'll worry about it when it happens. The good news is we're not far from Fall, which will be a terrific time to drive this car! Then I'll be fine until late November when I'll pick up a cheap winter car...probably an older Subaru Forester...like a $6k one.
Todd...yes, I pealed paint off! The car had been repainted at some point, and I'm guessing they didn't let the paint cure very well before putting on those shark fin stone guards. Well I went to pull off the passenger side and it came off really easily. So I just went over to the other side and it came off just as easily, but pulled about a two inch strip of paint off with it! So now I have something else to fix. At least this won't prevent me from driving the car. And hopefully I can sit on it for a while until I have the $$$ to fix it. Otherwise I may have to get MAACO...
Anywho....
