limited slip additive help syncros?

My trans shifts OK sometimes, finicky others. Changed all the bushings; aligned shifter best as I can (sometimes nicks reverse on a 4-2 downshift into 2nd, never upshifting; strange, but if I adjust anymore to get the 2-3 gate away from 1-2 then it won't go into 4-5); changed gear oil when I got it, then again recently after 3,000 miles. Used regular 80W-90 oil, not synthetic. Most irritating is that when I shift into 1st it is sometimes hard to get it to go in. I almost always try to engage it as I roll to a stop, but even then it will occasionally feel like the teeth are not lined up and need to try again once or twice before it will drop in.

So far it does not pop out of any gears, and doesn't seem noisy.

After all that, has anyone ever added limited slip additive to their transaxle? Do the cars with a LS diff use the additive, and did any of you notice a change in the way the car shifts. I was thinking maybe it would help the syncros a bit. TIA.
