My family and I have been in Ontario on vacation for the last 2 1/2 weeks and have driven along the 401 a lot. They have signs every few miles explaining the speed and fines associated with them. They clearly show how the fines go up drastically the faster you exceed the limit.
The way I see it
You are visiting a foreign country therefore a guest there.
You are knowingly breaking their laws
You are exceeding their speed limit by almost forty percent! (which is the like doing 91mph in a 65 mph zone)
You get caught and now don't want to be responsible for your actions.
You ask us what we think.
Here's what I think.
You did it, man up and pay the fine. Try being responsible for you actions
