I've done nearly 350 transactions on eBay and found the buyers and sellers far more ethical and reliable than Pelicanheads. My rating is 284 with 100% positives.

Be very wary of any feedback below 100%. Unclezak used to have feedback of about 98% because although he cheated about 20% of his buyers, he would sandbag people until the 90-day feedback period expired. Other people intimidate buyers/sellers from giving a negative by offering to retaliate.

These are relatively rare occurrances, and you can see the same thing happening here on this marketplace from time to time.

So good luck, whichever way you go. My feeling is that eBay tends to do a better job of keeping people honest.
