I think that since this is a privately owned forum, whatever the owner(s) decide is what will occur. I will respect that.

Naturally, since I post quite a bit of "stuff", I'd like for the status to remain quo. For an important reason, and that's because for the most part only one group objects strenuously to the postings because they don't like the content.

While I know that some that at least partially hold the same views also object, there's only a few of them as far as I know.

Further, it seems to me, those that object to quoted information (I always fully attribute any work by another that I place here) can simply avoid it by not clicking on the post in the first place, further proof that it's really the content to which they object, not the fact that it's excerpted in the first place.

Looks to me like the complainers are trying to get the board moerators to do their dirty work for them via censorship so they don't have to think about anything they don't wish published.

Oh, one other thing, I've complained about the posts of others exactly zero times, no matter how offensive I find it. There are always whiners in any group, folks we'd all be better off without.
