I totally agree that there is waaaayyy too much over diagnosis. I also think the diagnoses are being done waaayyy too young as well. However, having lived this way for so many years, I can say that "something" is just not right. Additionally, things were just not right for my son either. All I know is that there was a literal night and day difference for him after getting some special Summer classes and taking meds. I do not want to have to pop a pill, but damn it, if my chemistry is whacked, like my dads is, then so be it.
