There is definitely a difference in the boot quality. I installed the Lemforder tie rods in June. Less then two months later the boots were torn and cracking with less then 30 miles on the car in that time. I discovered that the Lemforder tie rods were shipped with cheap boots (not from Pelican, a local supplier dropped shipped these). The Lemforder boots are a dull black color and are flexible, the others are shiny black and made of a stiffer material. Check the material before you install. My local supplier was kind enough to send replacement boots at no charge. Good luck!
