Why does anybody who talks about global warming have to be a 'liberal"? Christ, that's ridiculous. Everybody has to be concerned about global warming. The scientific evidence is solid.
Now if you're one of those ignorant types who believes that Moses will come down and part the Red Sea again before the banks overflow, well that's taking your chances. No thanks.
P.S. I suspect the government is doing more about this issue than they are letting on. They aren't that stupid.
