Yes, the main HQ is in the East coast.
But the west coast area handles many of the accounting tasks, warehouse, shipping, etc.
Most (but not all) execs would be based out of the East coast and/or Germany locations.
By the way, several of the the German Vice pres. are currently in town to oversee a few things.
They're actually really nice guys.
Their California location is very important to them for support because most of the cars are sold within California. The only reason many companies locate their main HQ back east is the tax benefits offered by the states and local governments.
They actually had a small location in Santa Ana, which was in the process of being closed down and consolidated with the Ontario branch.
