Just got a scam over the phone from a guy wanting to sell me some Pelican Parts.
I was just getting out of my P-car and all of the sudden I get a call from a restricted number. I pick up the phone and I hear a guy with a strong Indian accent say: "Hello. I would like to sell you some Pelican Parts." I say:"No, I'm okay. Can I give you a call back later. I'm busy." He says: "Perhaps you would like pop off vavle?" Me: "No. I have everything I want for my car." Him: "Is your car Turbo? Can I sell you Turbo?". Me: "No. Who is this?". Him: "I would like to sell you Pelican Parts. Is your car a manual?" Me: "Of course." I then say good-bye and hang up. It was quite funny now that I think about it, but how did this guy get my number and how did he know I use Pelican? Weird. Just thought I'd share. lol.
