I don't care if he restores one or not, I don't even care if he ever even owns a Porsche, I just don't think he should come here to tell us our cars are not as good as the rest and that we only own them because we are financially unable to own a different one. He doesn't know my financial condition nor should he care. Truth be known, I probably make more than he does and there are probably many here that make more money than I do...but I do my best not to be disrespectful to anyone no matter how much money they make or don't make...because it doesn't make a difference. We all still love these cars or we wouldn't own them at least that is the case for me and I didn't appreciate him telling me what I would do IF I could afford a different Porsche model because he really has no clue what I would or would not do. Actually I hope he does do the restoration. Always good to see another one saved.

Ok, let me clear something up about me saying everyone here couldn't afford a newer Porsche. I didn't say ALL I said" MOST".
If someone came to you and said I'll trade your 944 for a Carrera GT, are you going to say "Oh, No thanks, the 944 has a better 50/50 weight distribution so I'm going to pass on your offer"
So I will repeat, if MOST people that owned a 944 were to be dropped into a brand new Porsche, they will not look back.
Another thing I picked up from what you are also saying is that if I'm such a high roller, why am I on this forum. So are you yourself trying to say that people on this forum are not well off that is why they are here.
I never put down the 944, I've owned one since 1990. but I'm taking all this attack for merely saying I want to restore one and have people within Porsche NA that are helping me.
