6 seconds per lap is pretty impressive. But it's also pretty impressive that running a season of ChampCar (basically a high tech, but spec series) will set you back about, what, $10m, while Toyota spends how many hundreds of millions annually to campaign its two cars? Both feats--F1's outright speed, and ChampCar's speed/dollar ratio--are pretty impressive.
