david ..........they are cars and with cars come maint and associated costs. i ve dumped a wad into mine, but its like anything else. at first your real excited, its fun, and then reality hits. thats when i walk away and go enjoy other interests and come back later for another session of abuse!
heres a typical weekend............. sat.work on p-car all day into the night(muy mucho cerveza's). car is spotless, detailed within an inch of its life. everything checked torqued-blah blah. sunday get up 5am, looking and feeling my best!
go out to garage and look at my creation...........SMILE. fire it up...........and SMILE BIG TIME! let warm up while finishing coffee. get in and run up to prescott. hit city limits and turn around and come back home.
end result.................a total WASTE OF FINITE FOSSIL FUELS. (1) anxious moment when radar detector goes off and more FUN THAN A BARREL OF MONKEES!
come home..................clean and debug car!
