"If someone came to you and said I'll trade your 944 for a Carrera GT, are you going to say "Oh, No thanks, the 944 has a better 50/50 weight distribution so I'm going to pass on your offer"
If the rules of the trade were that I had to KEEP the Carrera GT and could not sell it, then you're darn right i'd choose the 944 over the CGT.
The CGT reeks of pretentiousness. The 944 does not.
I couldn't drive the CGT on the roads where i live- the 944 has no problem.
I couldn't leave the CGT parked anywhere for fear of it being stolen or vandalized.
I couldn't let anyone borrow the CGT or even allow anyone else to drive it without stressing out.
The CGT would be almost impossible to work on myself.
And besides, driving some flashy bat-mobile that screams 'look at me' just ain't my style. ( and I've never liked a car that lacks a roofline- the CGT has none. )
So yeah, if given a choice between a CGT and a 944 I'd take the 944 without hesitation.
My 944 is used. A CGT, for me, is useless.
My 944 is a car. The CGT is a cartoon.
