I went to the dark side - Pentium D 945

Upgrading from Athlon 64 2800+ (I think it's 1.8 ghz) anyways, my 256mb Nvidia 6200 wasn't cutting it anymore, so i decided to upgrade my videocard. Got looking around and went with a 7600GT that was pci-e, and had to buy a pci-e mobo. well the Fry's ad came out today and advertised the 945 with an ECS mobo for $180, the price that newegg was selling the cpu for so I jumped on it. called cancelled the order for the videocard, and reordered the videocard along with some mushikin ddr2 memory (I couldn't see how to just modify the order and add the memory so this seemed like the only option. Also ordered XP pro 64 becuase it was only like $5 more than thanthe 32 bit one. Just waiting for the newegg order to put it together and thought someone here might be interested.

FYI, this will be my first Intel build after 4 AMD's. Altogether i am out $180 for the mobo/cpu, $160 with $30 rebate for the videocard, and $95 with $10 for the memory. More than i was originally looking to spend but i couldn't resist.

Also, you used to just be able to purchase additional licenses for windows xp, couldn't find them online or at fry's. Anyone if that is still an option? I saw an xp pro license for $40 at one time but didn't need an os then.
