Really Noah? the sample I got from Autos International looked to be pretty good stuff. Just synthetic vs. wool. My car is a targa...it will never be impervious to water, and the car is a daily driver that gets alot of wear. Thats why I didn't want to drop $500 on a fancy wool carpet set.
Hmmmmm...And I really wish it would be cost effective to repair my sport seats. They kick so much ass. I love them to death but they are honestly hammered.
The leather is totally shot. One spot on the drivers side bolster is worn through the foam...I put duct tape on it to keep from scuffing it any more. That would have to be repaired before it could even be recovered, then there is a broken cable that I have heard is a pain in the butt to fix, and not to mention my brackets and hardware on the seats look old and beat up. For some reason the seats in my car were by far the most hammered components. Utterly trashed. Everything else shows wear...but not like the seats.
Maybe I'll check into it more...because I really love them...but I'm not going to spend an arm and a leg fixing them.
