The article in Excellence actually compared the modified car (I believe it was a 964) to an original Carrera RS. The main comments were the lack of feel and how much heavier the later car felt. It also looked a little funny due to a strange wheel offset to make the Fuchs (look-a-likes) fit. I can find which issue it was if you want to know.
