I would be happy to own a used Boxter, one day. Sure, its not going to have the same steering feel of the old E, but what does? I certainly don't mind winding out a smaller displacement motor. (This coming from someone who owns a 2.0 litre Porsche, a turbo-diesel VW and a V6 full-sized pick up.) Also, having heat and A/C means we could have taken it on weekend trips, like the 600 miler we did on Saturday and Sunday.
I'd have one. it would be nice having a Porsche to drive in the winter, again.
