I picked up Gas Eberspacher Heater from a 66 912 this summer with the intention of installing it into my car, My only other option was to spring for the 6 headers from Patrick for about the price of a nice 914.
I have been warned of possible fire dangers using it and others say they work fine. Back in the day I remember my friends bug had one and it cranked out the heat.
Porsche did install these things into there cars how bad and unsafe can they really be.
