Also quite unlikely. Even during the depression, when 20% of the population was unemployed , the country was never in danger of disintegrating.
We are nowhere near that condition, nor do even the most pessemistic economist project that such conditions are on the horizon.
More likely if money becomes too tight, taxes will get raised. NO bigee
As an aside: Why is SUV culture worth saving? Does anyone care? I sure don't. Buy a fat ass car if you want. Complain about gas if it makes you happy. Makes no difference to me.
