They 550 replica in Sin City is my former car, which was a Vintage Spyder. I bought the car out of S. Florida in 2001 and completely rebuilt it, both cosmetically and mechanically. I ended up selling it to a young guy out of Austin, TX, a couple of years ago and he told me the movie guys spotted the vehicle at a car show out there. They persuaded him to let them use it in the movie and the rest is history, as they say.
That car had the best power-to-weight ratio of any vehicle I have owned. Of course the Jake Raby motor I put in helped!
